I love having my own house and it’s been really fun working on this place to get it in the kind of shape I want it in. I spent the longest time removing all the wallpaper and once that was done we found the mold, so needless to say there are some unforeseen expenses that have been weighing heavy on me. I thought for a while I was too far out to get internet until someone pointed me towards http://www.satelliteinternetbroadband.com/hughesnet/Utah/ so that’s been a lifesaver – I would hate to not be able to email and Facebook since my phone doesn’t get service all the way out here, either! My husband seems to like the place as much as I do but he’s far more hands-off with the whole process so it’s going to be my baby from start to finish. I don’t really mind though since that means I get more control over the plans and what ends up happening with the whole thing at the end of the day, you know?

Why does it seem like everyone in my new state has hair that reaches the tallest skyscraper? I just moved here to Texas from California, and it seems like every person that I run in to has a major “bump-it” in their hair. Have you heard of those things? They’re this piece of plastic that you put underneath your hair (think of Cindy Lou Houin “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”) and then go out in to public with. I guess it’s a fashion trend here, although I’m not sure I’ll ever be jumping on this particular band wagon. I was talking to some guy about it the other night, and he said that it was weird when you go to kiss a girl on the top of their head and they feel like a bionic bunny or something. He was funny, and also told me about a great website to try to finally get a good electricity service provider (it wasWWW.texaselectricityproviders.com ). The only reason that I haven’t chalked Texas up for an entire loss is because of this guy- he seems like he could entertain me for a little while at least! I miss California!

I really enjoy watching the Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan. I don’t own any dogs, but I know many people who do. I love dogs, and I have tried some of his techniques on my friends’ dogs, and much of the time, the things I have learned on the Dog Whisperer actually work!

Another reason I like watching this show is because it isn’t so technical that my young son doesn’t get anything from it. He really enjoys what he calls the ‘Doggy Show’ and what is really great about this show is that it’s helped him get over his fear of dogs after a friend’s puppy nipped him a few years ago. He’s learned that dogs really do learn and that they have feelings just like he does.

Cesar is the main human character on the show, with many others appearing while he is helping them manage their canine companions. Cesar is one of the warmest and sincerest personalities to appear on my tvbydirect.com these days, and that adds to his, and the show’s, charm. He genuinely cares about both people and dogs. I’m glad that I can add Cesar to my list of role models for my son, even if we’ll never meet in person.

Some of the things we have learned on this show is about canine health, what they can and cannot eat (never ever feed a dog chocolate) and many things about a dog’s mentality. If you have a dog, you should watch this show. You’ll learn a great deal on how to relate to your dog better, and what your dog wants and needs from you beyond food and water. Dogs are very social animals, just like humans are. Cesar goes into more than just the typical obedience training stuff – he really shows how to get your dog to fit in well with your family, too. And I think that is all any dog really wants, to fit in, and be loved.

I was just wondering if anybody has ever bought anything from an online auction? Seems like Ebay was the first one that got big from such a site. Now I see lots of different online auction places. So it appears it is growing in popularity.

If you have ever bought anything from an online auction. Maybe some antiques, baseball cards, pictures, dishes, or anything else. I would like to hear about it. Is there good deals online at these auctions? Which one is the best, or does it just depend on what your looking for. I don’t throw away too many things. So I collect all kind of different things. I have a broad interest range. I do like buying things that will increase in value. Unlike a computer that will be out of date 2 weeks after you purchase it. So let me know of any good places to shop around at.
