In the world of blogging there are many ways to generate revenue to help pay for the hosting and advertising of ones blog. When asked what has been our formula to pay the monthly expenses I simply reply that I have found an outlet to communicate with others and get paid to blog about the things that are of interest to me. Advertisers are seeing the value in consumer media and the blog has become an integral part of many marketing plans to reach out to different audiences and get the customer involved. I do not blog for to try and quite my job, but rather have some extra spending cash to provide some extra things for my kids and family.

I have tried to spread some of the knowledge and good fortune with friends and family through blogging. So through the past year I have acquired several domain names and set them up so that some of my friends and family can start their own blogs with a little boost rather than starting all the way from scratch. What a blessing this has been as they have really gotten into the whole blogging scene and the extra cash and knowledge has been a huge help to their families. I look forward to helping others find the world of blogging and creating their own niche and who knows maybe some day I will join the like of Paying Post as being seen as channel to connect bloggers and advertisers.

One of the greatest movies that I have watched is Rocky. The release of the 6 th and final episode will hopefully bring to a close a movie that shows that the underdog can win. One of the greatest quotes from Mickey ” You’re gonna eat lightnin’ and you’re gonna crap thunder! The first two were the best then they started to trail off as the characters seemed to get weaker. Although, I will admit that Rocky 5 brought everything home and to see Rocky end back where he started with the same mannerisms was quite good.
Now with the last Rock installment you can see the trailer online at movie trailers, and get a good view of what to expect. I can’t wait to see how he ends the movie, since it will be in theaters starting tomorrow there was some speculation that Rocky may actually die in the ring. Adrian!! It is amazing to think that Sly Stallone wrote the original script in just under three days, and now look at the legacy he has created. They have a great selection of movie clips, and some outtakes videos which is quite hilarious.

In this day and age many companies are looking to do more with less and the economic slowdown has had a huge impact on national and local non-profit organizations. Because many of these organizations rely on volunteers to help in their day to day operations, donations, and overall operating budgets they can sometimes find themselves in tough times without the expertise to help guide them through. In our area we are fortunate enough to have a Shriners hospital that provides free medical care to children. Through volunteer health care providers and long time investments that have been made possible through donations the Shriners hospitals have been a shining light for many families that have needed surgery and special needs for their children and could not afford the care. Now that the economy has slowed down the contributions and investments that has kept them open is now threatening to close several of the hospitals.
There are organizations like nesc or the National Executive Services Corps where local executives from major corporations help to provide consultation to non-profit organizations to help them with operational issues. They can also help to provide nonprofit strategic planning which can be a huge help in this day and time to help local organizations find ways to maximize their current operating budgets and find new ways to fund day to day operations. These local business experts can also help local non-profits to develop ways to brand their organization that will enable them to increase their presence in the community and help to recruit other volunteers that will assist them in their day to day planning and fund raising.
