We have all seen the banners that flash across a website or pop-up when surfing a particular site. So is the banner advertising worth the extra spend for advertising? I would say yes if you are looking to create brand awareness. If your are looking to create sales then your CPm will be much lower than it would be for other forms of advertising. If you elect to use banner advertising then make sure there is way that you can track the click through rates and where there clicks are coming from to better help you target your audience. There are many companies that are now reconsidering banner ads as they have been shown to have a positive impact on branding and customer responsiveness.
