Using TrailFire

A new and very interesting site has caught our attention in yet another online marketing venue. The sites is called Trailfire. It allows you to post your comments on any webpage, and then you can email to friends to let them and others know where you have been. The sign up is free. Simply put, you visit a webpage/ website that you find interesting, you can now comment on it and post to that webpage for your friends to see what you think. Check out this example:

We posted some trails and now you can see where we have gone and what we feel might be of interest to those we share the trails with.
Another great example: let’s say you have friends or family coming to visit you. You can pull up a website of attractions, post your Trail, and then email to your family, so that they can see what you are talking about and see the actual information. Mom and Dad, come on over. This is a great tool, as the trails can be be under one name, so that if you wish to show multiple pages to your family, all they have to do is click the arrow. What a concept. I don’t know about you, but when trying to explain how to get some website for my folks, it can be a pain trying to get them to the right URL. A Great tool that we will definitely explore and keep you updated.
